THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR HEALTHCARE LEADERSHIP WELCOMES DR. MINDY WYTTENBACH-LINDSEY AS THE NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
CHICAGO – October 29, 2024 – The National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mindy Wyttenbach-Lindsey, PhD, MHS, as the organization’s new CEO. Dr. Lindsey brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership and operational management to the position. Most recently, Dr. Lindsey served as associate vice president of operations at Mednax/Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. where she played an integral role in driving organizational growth, building relationships across the health care industry, and overseeing several successful acquisitions and integrations.
Jill Schwieters, NCHL’s board chair and senior managing director at Surgical Directions, shared her excitement regarding Dr. Lindsey’s appointment:

Dr. Lindsey’s strategic vision, financial acumen, and exceptional leadership were particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she served as executive director of the Virginia Association for Hospices and Palliative Care. During this time, the organization saw increased profitability and successfully navigated an acquisition. Dr. Lindsey’s diverse background spans both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, including her early career experience at Johns Hopkins Health System as well as published research in an international journal.
