Leadership Excellence Networks™ (LENS)

The NCHL Leadership Excellence Networks™ is an institutional membership group for leading healthcare organizations who recognize that their leadership development and talent management programs are integral to their strategic goals.

LENS organizations seek to advance leadership and organizational excellence in their own organizations, and are willing to share their experiences with other LENS member organizations as well as support NCHL’s mission to advance leadership throughout the field. Senior leaders from LENS member organizations participate in a variety of shared learning activities and joint initiatives.

LENS Councils

In 2012, NCHL launched a Council structure, which allows organizations to benefit from the work of the LENS without needing to participate as full members. Through the Council structure, an organization can participate in a specific focal area of the LENS’ work, with a lower level of time and financial commitment.

These limited-participation memberships focus on a single topical area, such as:
