National Healthcare Leadership Survey
NCHL has pursued a program of national surveys on leadership development practices in health systems over the years, with the goal of informing the field about the role and importance of leadership and its development for improving health outcomes. In recent years, a more robust science of leadership development and talent management has begun to emerge, one that can more directly inform strategic choices about organizational leadership investments.
The National Healthcare Leadership Survey is designed to help NCHL identify ‘best practice’ organizations that should be recognized as positive role models for the field, as well as excellent places for aspiring future leaders to work.
Hospitals and health systems that score high on the survey are recognized biannually with the BEST ORGANIZATIONS FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (BOLD) award.
